The Idaho State Department of Agriculture received funds through the Forest Service to treat noxious weeds in Lincoln County, Montana. The project included treating noxious weeds to improve the ecological stability of plant communities associated with both public and private forest stands and to reduce hazardous fuels for fire. The project employed local residents.
