Recent announcements as part of Budget 2014 in relation to student fees have caused outrage in the student community across Australia. Students at the Australian National University and the University of Canberra have asked for a forum where their university leaders and politicians can come together to explain (and debate) their views on the recent announcements and provide an opportunity for students to ask questions via a Q & A type session.
