This instructional video can be used standardize performance on the Upper Quarter Y Balance Test whether you are testing an individual or want to increase efficiency testing a large group. The Upper Quarter Y Balance Testing is a dynamic, closed kinetic chain functional test of the upper extremity and trunk. The Upper Quarter Y Balance Test uniquely requires stability at the person's limit of stability in a one-arm push up position, unlike planks, side bridges, trunk flexor/extensor endurance tests, One-Arm Hop Test and the Closed Kinetic Chain Upper Extremity Stability Test (CKCUEST)

In addition, when the results of the Upper Quarter Y Balance Test are entered into the Move2Perform software you get your client's personalized injury risk and peer performance measure according to age, gender, and sport/activity.
