World Cancer Day Walk, Race & Cycle against Cancer took place on 6th February, 2016, in Abuja with 1,043 people stormed the streets of Abuja to walk, race, cycle, skate, and dance against cancer.
The walk was led by Sen. Aisha Jummai Alhassan, Honourable Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development; Chidinma Ekile “Miss Kedike”(award winning musician), Annie Idibia (super actress and wife to the Tuface Idibia), Toke Makinwa (OAP & TV presenter), Gloria Orji (Cancer Champion) and other cancer control advocates amidst Abuja residents. Over 200 women received free screenings, while 49 men received free Prostate Screenings (PSA). Powered by Project PINK BLUE.
