Proper body mechanics done slowly indicate how force is vectored. If sped up when there is no initial resistance, as with a strike / block, there is greater force on impact. If it can't be done slowly it's being done with more muscle effort to gain the effect when done fast.
Anyone can do this, it is the mechanical advantage that ought to be taught in a style's movement.
