One Soliloquy, No Kindling Around
A poem written and performed by Darren K. Sanders.
Directed and Edited by Brandon Duca

Violinistic retrospective retraces two lives etched in between frames,
Artist of angst sketches love sick reverberations fret with bad names,
As if that were not figuratively enough of a bitter pill to swallow,
Await the rest of society to find amorous discord that hollow,
Where are the blueprints for affairs deemed stable and harmonious,
Place restraint in framework but outline background shaped erroneous,
How do they always suggest finding alternate means for improvement,
The way the relationship snipped pattern time to aim for whim movement,
Did fantasize about encounters based valiantly on confident concerns,
Animating illusory spectrum as same old court of pretext adjourns,
A dynamic can only continue when doting support wound ran deep,
Romance novels should abscond when chased by necessity to fall asleep,
Beastly manner left over each night as music calms the summer breeze,
Seagulls shouting above sea waves can equate to warm enough degrees,
Secret intimate pairings to never ever start yet greeted no friends,
Saddled with past drama no more introduction to heartfelt trends,
As dissonant as I can be when speaking in any such offbeat time,
Original intent reaching for closure not some harmony quoted in rhyme.
