Christian leaders in Israel call for a crackdown on Jewish nationalist 'price tag' attacks

A series of attacks against mainly Christian sites in Israel has sparked protest marches in Jerusalem and Haifa.

The hate crimes which include death threats and sacred monuments being defaced with graffiti are thought to be the work of fringe Jewish radicals.

Members of the Christian community believe the attackers are trying to poison the atmosphere ahead of a visit by Pope Francis later this month.
