A dedication ceremony was held at Bollinger Shipyards Inc. in Lockport, La., on Friday, March 2, for the U.S. Coast Guard's new Sentinel class Fast Response Cutters. The new patrol boats measure 154' x 25'5". Bollinger has contracts to build 12 FRCs at this time with a contract value of $597 million, but the shipyard hopes to build up to 58 of the new vessels.
