Neoball motor driven by a Rodin coil and 5V supercapacitors. The rotor is a 1/2 inch neodymium magnet. The Rodin coil is 4-7/8" diameter wound on a plastic donut form. It has about 20 turns per wind is imperfectly wound. It shows an inductance magnification effect that Marko Rodin talks about in his lectures, which are wonderful and stimulating. Check him out here, also Jaimie Buturff, lidmotor, magenpies, johnydavro, and several others.
