After touring the wonderful Romantic Road (Romantische Strasse), we left Füssen, Germany and began our German Alpine Road (Deutsche Alpenstrasse) drive that would take us all the way through Bavaria to the end at the Austrian border. One of our major stops was the historic town of Oberammergau, known for doing the famous "Passion Play" every ten years, where the whole town gets involved in presenting the play. Because we were on a strict time schedule, we were only able to stop for about 4 hours there, but we saw so much during that time, as you'll see here. Absolutely charming town with the well-known murals adorning most buildings you see there. As always, Ed does most of the narration that you hear, as well as most of the video camera work; I do the majority of the still photos and then edit and put the final product together to upload to You Tube.
