These fish can live for over twenty-five years.
They have the potential to live longer.

The fish in this video are our Tosai (first year) Long Fin Dragon Carp 'Butterfly Koi' from our family's ponds.
We have them all in the hospital tank.
They are all being given a 'General Cure'
(Special medication to prevent parasites and bacterial infections)
This is preventative medicine.
As you can see, they don't mind the medicine at all.
Hopefully, this will help them live longer happy lives.
