El Capitan iMovie9 crash video

If you use iMovie 9, do not upgrade to OS X El Capitan yet.
Thumbnail images invert when hovered.
And worse, the program crashes when the Theme browser is scrolled down.
And going back to OS X Yosemite takes a very long time.
