This is a LONG video.

1) There are three pillars of music: sūr (the drone/pitch), rāga (melodic modes), and tāla (rhythmic cycles). Since the khol is a rhythmic instrument, our focus on this class is learning tālas.

2) Introduction of the elementary kīrtana rhythm.

3) Proper kartal counting

4) Continously playing of the the rhythmic cycle
