Emancipation Day 1st August 2015 , saw the second annual African Reparation march, from Windrush Square Brixton to Parliament , to submit a petition to the government. Charged with genocide, slavery, colonialism and neo colonialism of millions of African people, of which this legacy is still being felt today.
Over 7000 people turned out to show unity and support the reparations campaign
