part of the way that you have success with wls IS to keep track of food intake and weight...DAILY. It doesn't mean that there is no fun or a life after that but keeping a daily track of calories and weight does have to be part of it...daily. And doing that doesn't mean eating disorder either.
hi there!!;) i am 22 weeks after my opp and lost around 18 kilos (220.5 pounds to 180.8) and i want to thank you for sharing your journey it encourages me and makes me think i am not going crazy when i talk to myself or feel angry with me for letting myself go as far as i did, may God bless you and keep you safe x

i dont have blood sugar issues... i'd like to live though, i read some wls boards and people obsess constantly about their food intake and weight ALL DAY LONG. what about going out and having fun? spending time with friends? creating and loving life? sure watch what you eat but don't develop an obsessive eating disorder, there is a happy medium.

i dont really want to spend every minute of every day thinking about food and my weight. :(

In one of your videos you are using a silly straw, my nurses & doctors told me I'd never be able to use a straw again. How does it feel to use a straw? I was told that it puts to much air in the tummy. Did it bother you?

i really enjoyed your video you actually get right to the point quickly a welcomed site...most people ive seen on utube get into the drama of theyre lives outside of the weight loss good for you!!!
@jennabeth1128: The skin didnt bother me at first but sometimes now I feel like its getting worse...maybe my fat is like redistributing itself. But...in time Im sure it will shrink some more. And extra skin is better than an extra 100 pounds...absolutely lol. You can hide extra skin, you cant hide 100 pounds.
@jennabeth1128: For the first 6 months I did a lot of walking and cardio. Now not so much...Im probably more active than most people but I dont have a workout regimin or anything like that.
@523melanie: Vertical Sleeve
Kelly: Let me tell you that as your bariatric surgeon, you make me feel proud!!! You are the best example of good decisions and choices patients make after bariatric surgery!
