Welcome to the Augustinians. We're the longest serving group in Australia of religious men coming here in 1838 with Archbishop Goold who became the first Archbishop of Melbourne. We've been working primarily in far north Queensland and central Victoria for the first 100 years. Since then, we've been down the Eastern Seaboard working in Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. At the moment, we have a revival in vocations and those 11 young men, come from all over the place; Australia, Japan, Philippines and Vietnam. And we're looking for more young people to join them and to promote the spirit of Augustine, the Charism of the Order.

This is general invitation for young me to come and see, what we're like.To experience life in community and to understand the nurturing process that grows within a community of prayer, of good works, and particularly in camaraderie of one another. We look forward to being hosts to many young people over the years and that's happening at the moment. So come, come and see, maybe even come and join.
