The Holliday Nature Preserve partnered with Friends of the Rouge and the City of Westland to improve the area under the Wayne Road bridge. Tasks included removing invasive plants like honeysuckle and garlic mustard; cleaning up the river and also painting over graffiti on the bridge itself. The goal being to let vandals know that area is cared for and watched over. Thanks to Dean Johnson and Phil Crookshank for the nice photos they took that were used to create this video slideshow. hnpa.org
