UPDATE 11 January 2015 - The Town of Ball, Louisiana, announced from their official website that Assistant Police Chief, Carl Bordelon, passed away, while on duty in the early morning hours of Saturday 10 January 2015. Bordelon apparently suffered a heart attack. The Alexandria Daily Town Talk reported on Sunday, 11 January 2015 that "The body of Bordelon, 51, who rose from patrolman to assistant police chief in 20 years with the department was discovered inside Town Hall on Saturday morning."

UPDATE Richard Lee McNair was captured on thursday 25 october 2007 at campbellton, new brunswick, canada.
