The 9th Annual Serbian Folklore Federation of North America Festival was held Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the Soldiers and Sailors Hall Auditorium in the heart of Pittsburgh's Oakland district, directly across from the University of Pittsburgh. These children came from all over to perform: Pittsburgh, Joliet, the Beaver Valley, Lackawanna, Steelton-Oberlin, McKeesport, Monroeville, Chicago, etc. The SFFNA is an exciting organization that aims to preserve and promote the folklore and culture of all regions of former Yugoslavia in which Serbian people inhabited. Heartiest heartfelt congratulations to all dancers, musicians, instructors and choreographers for their outstanding performances! We also salute George Davic, President; Elaine Vucelic, VP; Linda Jovanovich, 2nd VP; Dessa Mrvos, Secretary; and Georgette Osman, Treasurer. Also, Board of Directors: Donna Vranesevic, Christine Krcadinac, Janet Pribanic and Dan Jovanovich. Their dedication and commitment to our faith and culture and their leadership is commendable. May God continue to bless our youth, our future! Ziveli, Srbiji svuda!
