Ross Bowden's miracle method to boil shell-free eggs: Boil the eggs a few minutes until mostly cooked then use potato masher right in the pot on the stove top, on the still boiling eggs in their shells; gently break the shells without wrecking the flexible cooked egg inside the breaking shell, feel the bouncing boiled egg as you firmly bounce it several strokes per egg to roundly shatter the eggshell, rebounding gently off the bottom of the hot water pot (be careful not to splash boiling water on you or others). Then, let the eggs keep continue boiling another 3 to 4 minutes longer. Remove from heat and cold-tap-water cool the eggs in the pot over the sink; drain, then enjoy how easily the shells fall off the perfect intact boiled egg. Revolutionary!
[I had been advised over the years of several sad methods said to make peelable boiled eggs but none seemed fail safe, and most failed to help at all: the theories sounded OK, but my method is the new fail safe ultimate revolution that will make boiled eggs an easier treat for all (and easier to make large quantities for egg salad sandwiches, devilled eggs, etc.) Hope this helps!
