2015 has been another major year for gaming, and one full of surprises. This year has seen some huge AAA games fully deliver on their potential, and seen numerous smaller games seemingly arrive out of nowhere and make a big impression. This is a remembrance of all the extraordinary experiences we had with video games in 2015, and a tribute to the artistry and creativity of the developers that are continually pushing the boundaries of the medium.
These are by no means the only great games from 2015. Your favorite game isn't missing because I don't think it is worthy... more likely it just didn't edit together well with the rest or had to go to keep it under 2 minutes. I also attempted to give some screen time to overachieving indies that deserve the attention, rather than trying to cram in every major release.
To keep things simple, the only titles eligible for inclusion in this video were those that had their North American release dates in the calendar year of 2015. Remasters and re-releases were also excluded.
