Despite great strides made in containing the spread of HIV and AIDS in many countries across the globe, the incurable disease still remains a leading cause of death, especially among women of reproductive age. But, 30 years after the discovery of the virus, just how far is the world from discovering a vaccine? Our reporter Violet Otindo spent time at the Kenya AIDS Vaccine Initiative, and filed the following report on this year's World AIDS Vaccine Day.
