Ted Asregadoo talks to P.L. Thomas -- from Furman University in South Carolina -- about the way in which education reform in the U.S. is creating a new Jim Crow system that tracks primarily African American school children in urban and poor area into the prison industrial complex. Part of this phenomenon is linked to the 30 year "market-based" movement to reform eduction that started under the Reagan administration.
