Did you ever have fishcakes when you were a kid? The frozen ones - breadcrumbs surrounding a mush of vaguely fish-flavoured mysterious stuff? If you did, they probably put you off for life, but try making your own and taste what a real fish cake should be like. This recipe is a great way to use up leftover fish or mashed potato too.
