(Britt) At the Pier:
We all got ready and headed to the pier to meet up with the guys. Kay split up from us and we all headed to the ticket booth. All of us bought our tickets and waited for them to get here. Michelle had brought some kid from the beach with her his name is Travis. He's sooo hot. Jayk, TC, and David ended up coming about 15 minutes later.
Me: Hey! (Giving him a hug)
TC: Hey. How were you feeling this morning?
Me: The real question is how were YOU feeling this morning?
TC: Haha I was good. Just a little headache nothing that I couldn't handle of course.
Me: Of course.
TC: Well how about we go on some rides.
Me: Yeah that sounds good.
Everyone split up for the most part. Jayk and I went to get something to eat.
Jayk: let's go to the pizza place. It's really good stuff.
Me: okay how many times have you been?
Jayk: the guys and I came here a few times last week.
Me: oh nice.
We ordered some food and sat down. After a little while I decided to bring up what happened last night.
Me: sooo about last night...
Jayk: what about it?
Me: I don't really know. I just know it was different.
Jayk: and why is that?
Me: because you make me feel. I don't know, different.
Jayk: it's the same for me.
Me: but you're so sure about how you feel. You knew before last night.
Jayk: I knew from that first day on the beach. I know because you are a special person. I can see it.
Me: I like you a lot but I've been hurt by a lot of guys I don't know if I am ready to open up just yet.
Jayk: I'm not asking you for your whole heart. For now I just want to hang out and get to know you. All that I want is for you to open yourself up to me and let me get close to you. There is something about you that makes me feel like no other girl has.
Me: I don't know if I am ready for that. I don't think I'm strong enough.
Jayk: yes you are, I can see how strong you are. You're personality and the way you carry yourself says that you are strong enough for a guy like me.
Me: and what kind of guy are you?
Jayk: I am the type of guy who was raised by my parents to respect a girl and to treat her right. I have always been the one broken up with. And ya know what? It sucks I get it but all those other girls broke up with me because they didn't think they could handle me.
Me: well what if I can't handle you? (I said in a teasing way)
Jayk: then we will never ever kiss again.
Me: oh gosh what would I do without that? (in a sarcastic tone)
Jayk: not this. (he leaned over and kissed me)
Me: you're right and I just can't live without that.
Jayk: I knew it! Hey let's get out of here.
I went to the end of the pier and found a familiar looking boy leaning on the railing.
Bobby: Hey! (he opened his arms for a hug and I walked into them) Thanks for meeting me down here.
Me: My pleasure.
Bobby: I got you something before I came down here.
Me: you didn't have to!
Bobby: I know but it comes with a price.
Me: and what is this price?
Bobby: allow me to take you on a real date.
Me: who said I wanted to go on a date?
Bobby: you did, last night.
Me: (blushing) oh I guess I didn't remember that.
Bobby: haha well will you let me?
Me: yes, I will.
Bobby: okay, here you go.
Me: (he handed me a small jewelry box. And when I opened it I found a beautiful hand woven necklace that was green, yellow, and brown. It was such a thoughtful gift.) thank you sooo much, it's beautiful.
Bobby: I'm glad you like it.
Me: I love it, will you help me put it on?
I lifted my hair up and he put it around my neck. His finger grazed my neck and it sent a chill through my body. When I turned around I found him staring down at me.
Bobby: it looks more beautiful on you.
We just stood there for a little bit longer before he broke the silence.
Bobby: ready to go have some fun?
Me: most definitely.
He grabbed my hand and we walked back to where the rides, games, and food were.
