Home selling failures happen when people get complacent about how hot a market is. The seller feels that they have a hot commodity and they are willing to gamble that the home will sell even if they do very little to prep the home or maintain it while it's on the market.

Not filling out the property disclosure correctly and hiding issues with the home. Makes buyer believe the seller is hiding defects in the home when really all you had to do was be as clear as possible on all the items you have repaired on the home.

Another way to sabotage your home sale is Not maintaining to the yard of a vacant home, Leaving messy flower beds and the lawn a mile high is a huge turn off to a home buyer.
