This three and a half hour monumental movie tells the life story of Daniel Aguila, as told by his wife Salvacion Llamas de Aguila, played by Charo Santos.
The movie begins with the Aguila clan gathering to celebrate Daniel's 88th birthday, but the old man is nowhere to be seen... he has been missing for a decade.
Suspecting that his father is in Mindanao, one of his sons, Mari, played by Christopher de Leon takes off for that region in a determined search.

Eddie Garcia as Simeon Garido, a cunning man whose loyalty is to himself and whose obsession is to possess the beautiful Isabel.
Charo Santos as the energetic, courageous and liberated lawyer, Atty. Monica Salvacion Llamas, whom Daniel Aguila met in court and eventually married.
Sandy Andolong as Farida the niece of the local Datu who crossed borders, fell in love with the dashing Daniel and bore him a son named Osman played by Jay Ilagan.
Daria Ramirez as Elvira the kept woman of the elderly Daniel whom his wife never knew about.
Christopher De Leon as Mari, one of Daniel sons who went to Mindanao in search of his father but instead found the meaning of life.

Anyway the effort is well worth it... for AGUILA is a Great Movie with a Great Cast... and a Great FPJ...
