Inspired by Fudgemuppet's Skyrim Character Builds, specifically the Paladin and Templar builds, I saw potential to:
1 - Take it BEYOND mere Roleplay and create game mechanics that uplifted the experience. By taking advantage of Forgotten Magic: Redone and Perkus Maximus. 2 - Craft a whole new twist on the common "Sword+Shield Dragonborn" we've seen a THOUSAND times. 3 - Take story elements from the previous Elder Scrolls game and craft it together into a semi-cohesive story-line.
For clarification following the timeline strictly, the Knight of the Nine would be in his late thirties by the time he reached Skyrim, it's a stretch, sure, but some heroes are Late Bloomers, and besides with the power of the holy light, some of those crusaders in the order were a hell of a lot order than that and still in their prime.
This build was tested from level 1 to 40 on http://twitch.tv/zhakaron and although it started out pretty difficult, it was a hell of a lot of fun. If you are getting your butt kicked on Legendary Difficulty with all the mods and tweaks I've suggested in this video, my suggestion is this: MORE POTIONS!!!!
