So I saw this turtle two days ago on the sidewalk of my condo and placed her in a grassy area for 'safety'. Two days later I come late at night to find her digging a hole. I decided to run upstairs and read about it and by the time I got back down she had laid egg 1 of 6. My carema only does 30 second clips so sorry for the poor editing and lighting (mini flashlight). I was able to capture 4 eggs being laid and the last clip is of her covering it up.
I read online that they leave the eggs unguarded, unfortunately the area she laid in is small and surrounded by cement/street. If she is there in the morning should I move her? What about the eggs? I cant even 'protect' them because its on condo property grounds in a planted area.
