Laura´s Emergency Screen Printing (no Emulsion, Quick and Dirty)

Sometimes Screen Printing is the best option to get the Job done-but I don´t always have time to burn the screen properly and I usually don´t have the light sensitive emulsion at hand...or a darkroom.

So here is how you can make a quick print without any of the professional eqiupment.
Please not that this is NOT a substitude for the real deal! this is the emergency solution.
Also, depending on your design, you might be able to simply stick the vinylsticker on the screen and print over it. but with more complicated designs like my logo this usually doesn´t work to well because it is very easy to lose some of the small parts after a couple prints.

With this technique the screen won´t be reusable...but again, it´s the emergency solution. and actually the gauze is not that expensive and depending on how much you print it might even be more economical than buying a whole pot of emulsion and letting that go bad because you can´t use it all.
