How to carry yarn to the right when doing color changes in tunisian crochet without leaving a loop on the back. Please visit my channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/SuperObf to see more tunisian crochet videos. Written Instructions here.

Written Instructions
When carrying to the right, you will twist the yarns and do the first stitch with your new color as you normally would. You don't want the loop on the back to be too loose or too tight. Too loose and it can get pulled into the stitches and loosen the drape of the fabric. Too tight, and the fabric could pucker up a bit.

After the first stitch is done you'll want to determine if your next stitch should go over (regular) or under the loop on the back. Carrying to the right you want to end with a stitch where you go under the loop on the back. So if the total number of stitches you're carrying is even (2,4,6, etc) then for your next stitch you'll go under the loop on the back. If the total number of stitch you're carrying is odd (3,5,7 etc) then your next stitch will be a regular stitch.

Summary -
1) Twist the yarn and work a stitch as normal.
2) if total number of stitches being carried (including stitch from step 1) is odd begin with a regular stitch.
3) If total number of stitches being carried (including stitch from step 1) is even begin with a stitch where you go under the loop in the back.
4) Alternate doing under and regular stitches until you've reached the end of the back loop.
5) Continue working the row as normal.
