This is me with the first LED panel strapped to my chest, the last night of Coachella 2009 - Sunday. Again, no computer controls here, just a 555 timer with a timing cap loosely connected to shift between solid and scanning based on my movement. The red glowing thing on my shoulder is the DoLab behind me.
Many many "enlightened" folk enjoyed this, with or without the aid of diffraction grating glasses :) - Those, by the way, are the "3-D" rainbow explosion effect glasses when you look at lights at night. I had a few pairs on me to enhance the experience with others.
At first my project was just called "LED Suit", but at its début left-and-right people were shouting things like "Hey!, It's LiteBrite!" and "Look! It's LiteBrite Man!". And thus I shall name it, sans infringing spelling. Light Bright.
A shout out to all the friends of this shirt, including Coachee.
