Here I review the laptop I've been using for around a year: the Thinkpad X200.
It's my favorite machine for a couple reasons: easily compatible with all free software, like other Thinkpads, easily repairable and customizable and is still compact and portable.
All for only around $100; and I expect it to last quite some more time.
Info about what I have in my machine: *Ol' fashioned Intel core duo *Half TB SSD (for Sanic-fast speeds) *8GB of RAM *Motherboard has been librebooted *Atheros wifi card (forgot exact model...) *And of course, trusty old Ganooooo slash Linocks
