The DUI and speeding charges in this case were both thrown out of court. It was determined that even if the driver had been speeding at anytime during his encounter with the police officer, it wld have been impossible for the officer to know the driver was speeding. The officer saying he saw the driver doing 50 in a 70 zone was just a pretext to stop another Black driver.
