Hilary Hahn sits with composer Antón García Abril to speak about the creative process and his life in music. (Big thanks to off-screen translator Gonzalo Augusto.) Hilary will tour García Abril's work in January and February 2013 as part of the ongoing project, "In 27 Pieces: The Hilary Hahn Encores," a collection of new short pieces by 27 contemporary composers, for acoustic violin and piano. One interview with a participating composer will be posted every month.
