First track on The Field's Things Keep Falling Down EP. (Kompakt)

The so far unknown swedish artist Axel Willner cracks Kompakt's high security demo facility with poppy, loved-up-cut-up-classy-splatter-loop-its-bits-and-pieces-patterns, mostly pillaging the motoric four tops' "reach out {I'll be there}" to Secondo in a backwards motion. The Field starts at the point where Profan picked up ten years ago: transferring the basic essence of rhythm inherent in every groove and loop into a virtual space, liberating the loop from any unnecessary ballast using a kind of mental washing machine. As long as we can dance to it - who gives a damn.
