Just some random clips of what I have been up to lately...for those that were asking.

Bench Press

I have kept it lighter and tried to work on speed and explosiveness. I am going to try and do more shoulder presses to help my upper body power for jumping.

Kneeling Snatch

Just tried something new. My ceiling is too low to be hitting anything overhead standing up, so I thought why not try these on my knees. It should help my upper body explosiveness for when I can use my whole body. They were also fun to mess around with...

Depth Jumps

I am using a really low box to start with while my body/CNS/tendons get used to my newly acquired MASS...ha, ha...honestly, I feel like I way 400 lbs when I try to run or jump. It's crazy. My stretch reflex system is out of commission at the moment...ha, ha...I have to do a lot more plyo's and get back to jumping right. My standing vertical feels okay, but my one and two-step approaches feel terrible. I will have to put some serious work in on that!

Rim Touches

After my workouts, I always go to the rim and just do some relatively easy approaches to get my body used to the motion again. It's been awhile. As you can see, these aren't max effort jumps, but they still suck at this stage.

Now I know what I need to focus on for the next few months. We'll see where I go from here...
