Alzheimer's disease is currently the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States, and it is the only one among the top 10 that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed. Georgia Health News talked to William Hu, MD, PhD about his recent research aimed at more quickly and efficiently diagnosing Alzheimer's disease. Hu is an assistant professor of neurology at Emory University School of Medicine and Emory's Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.
