Castor oil is known to speed up hair growth and for some, it has even helped grow back hair in thinning areas. For the people saying she got the wrong castor oil, to each their own. The paricular product she has is not pure and unrefined, it's petroleum based which is why some people find it difficult to wash out. If you're having trouble washing out pure, cold-pressed, unrefined castor oil I suggest you try diluting it with lighter oils, such as jojoba oil, almond oil, or grapeseed oil. Use 1 part castor oil to 4 parts of the other oil of your choice. Castor oil is a very heavy and thick oil to use on it's own. Also, putting it on your ends for conditioning is great for protecting them from breaking, and leaving it in for a while is good. The most important step though, is when you apply it to your scalp. You want to part your hair and coat your scalp like she says (a little goes a long way), but afterwards, make sure you give yourself a nice scalp massage, as this is what allows the oil to penetrate into your scalp and it also stimulates blood circulation to your hair follicles, which is what causes faster growth. If you try this and decide you hate castor oil anyway, just try emu oil. It's lighter and is said to have the same effect. But whatever you use, the massaging is key. Hope this helps someone.

I bet you if u were to look at the ingredients castor oil isnt the first ingredient. Use 100 pure castor oil. Castor oil shouldnt be a cream. It should be a oil

The reason why the oil might seem itchy is because it detoxify's your hair meaning that it removes anything that may seem toxic to your hair.  I'd recommend that you don't "over use" the oil because it it usually for more kinky hair which lacks a lot of moisture in which your hair may have.

How on earth do you manage to wash this out? I have the exact same product but it is impossible to wash out, and makes my hair look super greasy. Any advice please? :)
