Wish we could stop the comparisons, Kobe doesn't even want to be compared to Michael he has said that many times.

at 33, year 12 MJ played all 82 games: 29.6 ppg (2nd straight scoring title), 5.9 rebs, 4.3 assists, 48% from the field.  2nd straight title, won 69 games.  at 33, year 16 Kobe played 58 games 27.9 ppg, 5.4 rebs, 4.6 assists, 43%  I'd say Jordan was better but you have to give credit to Kobe for having such a long career, coming out of hs and still putting up really great numbers. MJ played 15 years, but he retired 4 1/2 years

We take Kobe, FLAWS AND ALL, and believe he's the greatest due to the things that he's done. JORDAN fans call him the "god of basketball" like he has NO damn flaws! THAT is what kills me!

And dude, the rule changes started in 1990..go look up NBA rule history..THAT is when the league softened up, and I FORGOT about the expansion teams! But YOU think those expansion teams were FULL of legends, so have at it bro! And How many players in the 90s are the top 50 greatest of all time?? 10, and 3 played for the Bulls! How many are on that list from the 80s/70!? HA! Legends future HOFs vs Kobe? Ray Allen, Jason Kidd, Jordan, Pippen, Reggie Miller, Lebron , D-Wade, to list a FEW!
Im in between names. Suggest one if you want
Kobe never left the sport to play baseball

I didn't compare anyone's rookie seasons. Just stating facts about someone everyone "claims" is the greatest! And I do not apologize for Jordan sucking all the way til the rules changed to benefit HIM! I do not apologize that he won when the legends got old, injured, and retired. I do NOT apologize that the NBA's worst draft classes were in the 90s...I do NOT apologize that 6 expansion teams watered down the league in the 90s...I could continue, but why? NOBODY wants to face these facts!
