February is a time for groundhogs, presidents and of course Valentines. Some people like to send cards or candy. Other's like to send flowers. This story is about roses, but you might think twice before sending some to your sweetheart. They're a bit on the small side. The roses grown in Dr. Bruce Cahoon's plant biotechnology class last fall measured about two inches high. A dozen would fit in the palm of your hand.
