In Attack of the Clones, during the Coruscant speeder chase, you might notice that Zam Wesell's speeder it's the more musical of the two. The sound of that speeder was made by running a finger up and down the strings of an old 1950's electric guitar and recording it through an old amplifier. The idea was to produce a sound as if Zam's speeder were not rocket-powered, but ran on some kind of magnetism.
