Shocking video: Babysitter brutally beating a little girl without any mercy
A babysitter’s brutal assault of a baby was caught on camera, reminding parents of why “nanny cams” are so desperately needed.
The disturbing video begins with both sitting on a sofa, seemingly fine. But then, the baby does something to annoy the nanny and gets smacked in the face several times. Then, after watching TV for a time, the baby, as babies so often do (especially when fed too much), spits up on the floor. The nanny then snapped, unleashing a shocking and brutal assault on the child.
Social media users saluted the girl’s father, who, after seeing the video, reportedly beat the nanny so brutally that she was left confined to a wheelchair.
The woman was later identified by Nehanda Radio as 22-year-old Jolly Tumuhiirwe, and the father as Erick Kamanzi, an employee of a “reputable NGO in Kampala” which had reportedly released the video.
The station reported that he was arrested after Tumuhiirwe laid charges against him, but that police quickly changed their stance and released Kamanzi after he referred them to the video footage.
Police were reportedly contemplating changing a charge of torture against Tumuhiirwe to attempted murder.
“Nah death would be too merciful. I think he did the right thing leaving her ass in a wheel chair and eating through tubes. Now she can think and suffer about what she did every damn time she wakes up in the morning and gotta get on her wheelchair,” said one Twitter user.
“Yes if it were my child I would be behind bars, But she wouldn’t be free… she would be dead,” tweeted Don Newcomb.
“She would be dead if she had done that to my child – dead,” wrote venicementor.
