"Holy" Strider Is a Sin Against God And You Should Feel Bad For Using him

No character edit, no mater how bad, no character edit should make me have to resort to Nightmare Geese. Its one thing to really test me but to force me to use a goddamn boss and resort to spamming to get even teh slightest edge? That dog don't hunt, Cypha. That dog don't hunt.

Holy Strider is an edit of Splode's Strider Hiryu from the Strider games who later made an appearence in Marvel vs Capcom. Unfortunately...

Well, think of a ryu edit and replace him with Strider. You've got this. Some claim he has a really difficult and intricate combo system. Bollocks. Mortal Kombat 3's combo system was more intricate than this, this involves essentially near mashing madness to result in shit that would make even KONG look on in disgust and say "No way man, thats too far even for me"

The flashiness is ramped up to stupid levels. Once upon a time when days were happier, MUGEN was more of a place wherein you actually felt like you were using a work of art. Back then, gameplay and graphics had equal standing. Noen overshadowed the other and it was a big concern when one was overemphasized.

Nowadays, MUGEN's all about how far you can crank up the lens flare, how far you can crank up the sheen and trasparencies until teh charater itself is practically one big fat See Vee Ess Two Hadookin

Hoyl Strider has a bit too much graphical flash. Look at the panther Option, its virtually nrecognizable

His supers are kinda stupid, especially how they have POWERED VERSIONS WHEN THEY'RE ALREADY BULLSHIT.

The combo systme allows a ridiculous amount of super chaining with stuff that not even C-Groove would allow I'm sure.

But something really saddens me. Its trider Hiryu who's been edited here. Now, don't get me wrong, Capcom IMO have some boring characters but Strider was pretty cool, he was dedicated to his mission with no deviations, and he was a ninja and ninjas are cool (Unless they're up against pirates) and he never acted like a typical overzealous kid or an emo or an Emil Castagnier or Ash Crimson guy. He basically said "Missions' over. I'm outta here". And I loved how one of his MvC winquotes was copypasta'd from the original Strider (It was "Take me to your boss! whixh he said to Tong Pooh after you beat her/them)

And to see him badly edited in this way really saddens me. Moreso that its Splode's nice and fine Hiryu which was better on its own.

And as I've mentioned, MUGEN has become a graphical arms race, so you can imagien that the MUGEN Guilders and most of the kids, scrubs, magpies and others love this thing to death. I have news for oyu: THIS CHARACTER SUCKS SHIT AND YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD FOR USING HIM.

And with his AI being an arsehole (I do know that Splode's Hiryu already had deadly AI), I had ot resort to a goddamn boss. Now let me never use a boss again.

But don't get me wrong, from the looks fo it, Cypha's an okay guy, but he really needs to try something that isn't a Holy or Evil or Orochi edit. Be original or something, Cypha.

In short, this "holy Strider" is something that would disgust God himself, ti is an affront to the heavens.
