This is my first try at editing video. The people (me) in the video were recorded one by one on videotape. I had help from my husband Dan, who stopped and started the camera and audio recorder at the proper times. The three people in the front were filmed in front of a turquoise Chroma Key background. The audio tracks were mixed separately and played back to keep the video in sync.
To combine the six video files and the audio track into one video, I used Wax 2.0, a free video editor. It allows the user to crop each video and place it appropriately in the frame. It also removes the Chroma Key background so that some figures can be placed in front of others. This is tricky, and you'll notice some imperfections (it's my first try!!!).
I found quite a few YouTube videos showing how to use Wax. Thanks, guys!
