STREET ART FOR SOCIAL COHESION
The Street Art Museum Amsterdam doesn’t feature on any of the tourist maps that people get when they visit Amsterdam. Yet, it draws large numbers to the remote neighbourhood of New West with its world renowned collection of street art: Stinkfish, Btoy, Uriginal, OakOak, and many others. The art isn’t presented in a polished gallery, but on the streets, where it belongs and is a living part of the neighbourhood. Thanks to Anna Stolyarova, the museum’s founder and curator, for an excellent tour!!
