Take a ride down Route 66 promoting electric cars... meet the owners of road side attractions and leaders in the electric vehicle community, as they get ready to revive the old mother road as America's first electric highway!

Sadly, the mini-DV tapes this documentary was shot on were damaged during the early stages of the editing process, either placed near a demagnetizer, or run in a defective player, which is why you see these constant glitches in the image.

Our dream of editing this for DVD sales was crushed, but we finished the editing process anyway to make it available free online.

Back in 2007, YouTube had a 10 minutes clip limit, so Toaster66 was uploaded to Google video, where 800+ people saw it. But recently Google made it possible to transfer our film to YouTube in one easy step.

I hope you enjoy this little slice of history as much as we did making it.
