Join +Dan Doernberg from http://nowcomment.com tonight on http://edtechtalk.com/ttt at 9pmET/6pmPT who will give us a preview of NowComment's new image and video annotation features. +Johanna Paraiso and +TERRY ELLIOTT will be will us as well as YOU (we hope).
Next week (if all goes well) Public interest group http://Fairness.com will be announcing a new release of NowComment with... "fully integrated in-context commenting and annotation of all major content types: Text, Images, and Embedded Video/Audio."
Dan will be inviting TTT listeners and participants to beta test NowComment's enhanced image and video capability which will be available for the 2016-17 school year.
Dan expects NowComment video commenting to be popular during the run-up to the November elections. “Teachers can use it to help students engage intellectually with media, e.g. to fact check candidates’ speeches or to offer evidence of media bias. Outside the classroom, it will be great for partisan political annotation and commentary (likely friend-to-friend, conceivably even by the campaigns themselves).”
