[quantum mechanics experiment]
This is the mach zehnder interferometer what has been explained by Benjamin Schumacher in his, TTC course of “The Physics of the Microscopic World”. I am not able to see the expected result of striking the combined beam in single detector. Actually the light beam strikes both detectors. The phase shift of light beam needs to be considered to understand this behavior. I understood that it needs perfect match of length of both Upper and Lower paths of splitted light beam. It it is almost impossible to keep same path length at nanometer level.
