Meniscus Knee Surgery Number #2!

When I had my right knee operated on last year at La Peer Surgery Center in Beverly Hills, CA, I didn't have my #googleglass yet so we documented part of my procedure and the minutes leading up to it, the traditional way. A photographer and our lovely reporter Lisa Breckenridge from @myfoxla came out to meet me to do a live shot for our morning show @gdla.

After finding out a few weeks ago that I needed the SAME surgery on my left knee, (and after a very loud angry cry of frustration), I suddenly realized that I now had #glass. And that this time, "I could document part of my experience from my POV and from my #googleglass!" I started using it in the waiting room when I was still without any anesthesia. http://www.youtube.com/edit?ns=1&vide...

You've heard of stories about people saying all kinds of things while under anesthesia? Well, here's evidence of it through #myglass.

I don't remember much about what happened last year during my first knee surgery. Frankly, I was too nervous and scared. The last thing I remember during that time was being wheeled out of the waiting room to go into the O.R. This year, I had enough where-with-all to put my #googleglass on through that quick stroll into the operating room. I remember that fairly well, hearing them ask me to move to the other table. But after that...I remember absolutely nothing. Loved that I had #glass to remind me of what I said and what I saw right before I fell into deep sleep.

I would like to take this time now to apologize to all the people I may have offended by the kookie things I said. :)

And I'd like to say THANK YOU to the doctors, nurses and staff at La Peer Surgery Center and to Dr. Sonu Ahluwalia who is the absolute best Orthopaedic Surgeon. Ever!
